Robust in moist environments and under high stress
The Gira water-protected, surface-mounted range is a particularly robust design line. It is suitable for installation in damp rooms and wherever there are particular stresses. As a result, it is perfect for use in cellars, garages, workshops and in production facilities, as well as outdoors, of course.
The SCHUKO socket outlets with item numbers 017530, 078530 and 078430 additionally have specially alloyed metal parts. This enables the socket outlets to be used in air containing ammonia, as is the case in agriculture – for example in breeding and keeping livestock. Cable ducts, connection adapters and junction boxes enable neat installation on the wall.
High-quality materials
The Gira water-protected surface-mounted system is available in grey. It is made of shatter-proof thermoplastic, and is resistant to air containing ammonia, oil, grease, fuel and chemicals.
Protection type IP 66
Switches, buttons and SCHUKO socket outlets are also available in the IP 66 protection type (watertight).
